ReplyDeleteThe trouble with the whole concept of "pride" in being a Christian is grace - as the verse above says, it's none of our doing and it's not what we deserve. Gratitude and joy are appropriate responses to God's gift of grace. See Proverbs 16:18: "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall"
